Dr. Julie Sterling graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology in 1998. She attended and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 2002. She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Family Practice Residency at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN in 2005. She is board certified in family medicine. She joined Family Medicine Specialists in 2005.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 5 children. She also enjoys cooking and gardening.
